Blog 5 - Mentorship Reflection

1. Mentorship question: Describe your experience in how you found your mentorship?  If you haven't found one yet, describe your experience so far in the search of a mentor.
My mentor Yuan Pei Wang is a Violin teacher at a private music school in Rowland Heights. I founded her through my music theory teacher Mr. Qin.  Mrs. Wang was originally from The China National Symphony Orchestra, the top orchestra in China.

2. Research question: What has been your most important article you have read so far and why?
The most important article I have read so far was the “Violinist Shigetoshi Yamada Interview” This interview article was about violinist Yamada for the Chicago music institute. He studied with Dr. Suzuki in his pervious years and then spends the rest of his life on studying Mozart and classical music. In the article he explains a lot of thing he learned before and how creates difference between music styles.
