Lesson 1 Reflection
1. Positive Statement
I'm proud of my contents for the presentation, my scientific data on how music educations affect child's academic skills.
2.Questions to Consider
P- , I have covered most of my important and significant points in my topic, i actually had more to say but because i was so nervous so i didn't had a chance to.
3. What worked for you in your Lesson 1?
I have successfully made a lots of eye contacts with the audience, making sure i was doing alright.
4. (What didn't work) If you had a time machine, what would you have done differently to improve your Lesson 1?
If i could, i could like to bring note cards, so i'm more prepared with what i'm going to say, and not blinked out.

This month, during my mentorship i have helped parents organized their schedules for class, and while talking to the parents, i have figured out none of the parents are really wanted their child to be a professional musician, they are generally using music as a tool to help their child do better in the academic skills, and also to help them get in a good college.

Blog 7: Independent Component 1 Approval
I'm planing on taking the Certificate of Merit Exam, The exam is a level test for music theory and violin performance level test.
I will provide pictures of my music theory work book, and rehearsal with the pianist and my violin instructor to prove my hours.
This exam helps me with knowing more background information in music, and also a good opportunity as a violin performance.

This month, my mentor helped me with my standing position, and how to keep my balance with the violin while i'm moving. Now is the time to sign up for the annul certificate of merit exam, the actual exam will be in Feb. 2015, the enrollment is starting now, i helped my mentor with organized the sign up paperwork, and schedule with pianist for rehearsals.

My mentor Yuan Pei Wang is a Violin teacher at a private music
school in Rowland Heights. I founded her through my music theory teacher Mr.
Qin. Mrs. Wang was originally from The
China National Symphony Orchestra, the top orchestra in China.
2. Research question: What has been your most important article
you have read so far and why?
The most important article I have read so far was the “Violinist
Shigetoshi Yamada Interview” This interview article was about violinist Yamada
for the Chicago music institute. He studied with Dr. Suzuki in his pervious
years and then spends the rest of his life on studying Mozart and classical
music. In the article he explains a lot of thing he learned before and how
creates difference between music styles.

- The most important part was the Best answer part
through out the senior presentation, that’s the part when you sum up the most
important things from your senior project.

- I’m planning on doing Chemical engineering for my
senior project, I like Chemistry, and I’m kind of good at it too. I believe
that will be the right job for me in the future.

- I’m still looking for a professor form Chemical
